My name is Jana and I am a Costume Technician with a decade of experience in the NYC Costume Industry.

I currently work as a Draper in the Juilliard School Costume Shop where I make custom costumes for Drama, Opera, and Dance productions.

I ran the Company XIV Costume Shop for three years where I made burlesque, drag, and showgirl costumes.

I’ve worked in commercial costume shops and freelanced on a variety of projects including custom wedding gowns, historic replica garments for museums, broadway shows, and drag race.

I graduated in 2015 with a BFA in Costume Design from SUNY Purchase’s Design/Technology Conservatory.
